Are you interested in understanding Anthroposophy or Spiritual Science in a practical way? Do you enjoy dynamic conversations with people who are creative, intelligent and interested in your contribution?

A new group, spear-headed by a couple of Waldorf alum and some questing individuals, has been forming in Portland, Oregon around the questions of how Anthroposophy compares and relates to other ideas- philosophy, spirituality, religion, economics, social activism, individual and social development, and relationships. We are attempting to form our study group in a new way and are looking for people who are open to the experience. Self-titled as the Portland Youth Discussion Group, we invite people who are youthful in mind, body or spirit to join us in bi-weekly meetings where we share a meal, an artistic, musical or physical activity, followed by discussion. We rotate conversation facilitators at each meeting and our readings change, based on the interest of the facilitator. We are very interested in expanding our circle and in exploring more people’s passions, ideas and interests. Our next meeting will take place at 7:00PM on Monday, December 18.
